We had a vision and a dream of providing
quality training and facilities and wanted to make it a
reality.
We want the standards of K9 competition
sports in Ireland and Northern Ireland to rise and keep rising,
this is already beginning to happen in agility with better
facilitates (at long last) being provided for the competitors,
more weekend shows being staged and some additional
training being offered to competitors within their own 'clubs',
there is still a long way to go, however it is now starting to
move in the right direction.
The expectations of K9 exhibitors in Ireland
to rise and keep rising.
Junior handlers and their k9s to realise their full potential.
.......and they are with K9ARC juniors qualifying for events
like Cruft's.
K9s to realise their full potential.......
we have too many successes to mention them all, however, the K9
who on greeting people (including his owners) submissively
urinated through fear........ to starting to compete and
won his first competition after lots of hard work and
dedication by his handler or the handler who had been told his
K9 was aggressive and should never be let off lead with other
K9s around, after attending K9ARC classes and completing the
Agility Performance Coaching Program, he won K9ARCs annual Best
in Show trophy.
Education in the community....such as a
demonstration by K9ARC members and hands-on dog handling with
the disabled young people who attend the Fleming Fulton School
in Belfast to training staff Ttouch, acupressure and behaviour
work at Animal Rescue Center's, all this goes towards encouraging a
more positive view of the K9 in the Community .
By buying and installing the best we can afford,
treating handlers and competitors with the hospitality, service and
training they deserve and delivering this as an all year
round, all weather facility.
The first, dedicated holistic dog
facility in Ireland & the UK and we hope to see & welcome you all.
Because you deserve the best
... we are
exhausted and broke, but having incredible fun!
